How to Escape Forest in Piggy (Chapter 4)

Frightful Forest: live Halloween event

Frightful Forest went live on October 10, 2026. Piggy Dev Team’s update log for that day says it “Updated Forest with ‘Frightful Forest’ look” and added a Survivor Effect “obtainable via quest hidden in Frightful Forest”. The official Roblox event listing runs until November 8 at 17:00 UTC.

The hidden quest is six coloured pumpkins, and the effect is called Wisps. The Wisps guide has every pumpkin location. In Bot modes the community wiki lists Carver, a mole in a pumpkin mask, as the Frightful Forest bot.

The update log lists no route changes. The locks and item spots below come from the community wiki read on October 5, before the new look; we have not replayed the map since.

The locks and what they hide

• Exit Door: in front of the watchtower. A Blue Lock Door is to its right, with a Wrench panel behind it.
• Green Lock Door: at the cabin with the blue roof, near the watchtower. Another Wrench panel is to the left of that cabin.
• Red Lock Door: in the cabin with the purple roof, which has a third Wrench panel.
• Orange Lock Door: near the player spawn, in the cabin quarter.
• Purple Safe: in the cabin with the green roof. It holds the Gun.
• Yellow Safe: in the watchtower room. It holds the Wrench.
• Cave: blocked by a wooden wall. Inside it an ice block sits in front of the White Key. There is a campfire at the player spawn and another in the cave.
• Plank event: at the entrance to the watchtower room.

Where the items can be

• White Key: inside the cave, after the ice block has been melted.
• Torch: in the orange key area, or in front of the cave.
• Hammer: on a bench next to the cave, in the red key room, or in the tower.
• Green Key: inside the orange key area, in the shed opposite the red key room, or next to the Piggy spawn.
• Red Key: in the green key room, or in the shed that has the Purple Safe.
• Blue Key: inside the green key room, on a bench next to the cave, or in the shed opposite the red key room.
• Orange Key: inside the tower, or in the shed opposite the shed that has the Purple Safe.
• Yellow Key: beside the player spawn, next to the generator that is not locked, or at the bottom of the tower.
• Plank: on the ground next to the blue key area, or in front of the Piggy spawn.
• Wrench: in the Yellow Safe.

Doggy and the dark

• Doggy searches the map. If you get too close he barks, and the Piggy and other players see a red alarm sign above your head.
• Forest has lower survivor visibility than most maps, so stay near landmarks such as the campfires and the watchtower instead of crossing open ground.

Field note. Item places come from the community wiki, read on 2026-10-05. The wiki says the White Key appears after the ice is melted but its lists do not say what melts it, so we do not either.
