How to Get Wisps in Piggy: All 6 Pumpkin Locations

What the Frightful Forest quest gives you

Piggy Dev Team’s update log for October 10, 2026 reads: “Updated Forest with ‘Frightful Forest’ look” and “Added Survivor Effect, obtainable via quest hidden in Frightful Forest”. The official Roblox event calls it “a unique, limited time Survivor Effect”.

Neither official post names the effect or explains the quest. The community wiki and walkthrough videos call it Wisps: small glowing lights around your character. The community wiki lists it as the first Survivor Effect in the game, in a new Survivor Effects tab.

Field note. The update log says the changes are “only in updated servers”. If Forest still looks normal, join a new server.

Before you start

• Pick Book 1, then Forest. The community wiki says any game mode works and suggests Bot or Player mode.
• Two pumpkins sit behind locks, so you need two items: the Orange Key for the graveyard gate and the Hammer for the boards on the cave.
• In Bot modes the bot is Carver, a mole in a carved-pumpkin mask, according to the community wiki. Doggy still patrols and barks when you get close.
• You do not have to escape. The quest is done the moment the sixth pumpkin is picked up.

All 6 pumpkin locations

You can collect them in any order.

1. Yellow: on a tombstone in the graveyard to the left of the player spawn, behind the Orange Lock gate.
2. Red: in a bush beside the Green Lock cabin. You do not need to open the cabin.
3. Orange: behind the cabin across from the Red Lock cabin, under its back right corner.
4. Purple: behind a crate at the broken shed near Piggy’s spawn.
5. Green: at the Wrench panel beside the flipped, rusted car. You do not need to fix any panels.
6. Blue: inside the cave, behind the boarded wooden wall. Break the boards with the Hammer; you do not need to melt the ice.

Field note. These locations come from the Piggy community wiki, read October 11, and match the frames we checked in Bananamin’s walkthrough video. We have not played the quest ourselves.

How to tell it worked

• After the sixth pumpkin you hear a “cha-ching” sound. That is the reward.
• You can keep playing or die after that; the effect is already yours.
• The community wiki says the quest can be repeated and done in a group, including with players who already have Wisps, so friends can split the map between them.
• There is no skin with this quest, only the effect.

How long you can get Wisps

The official Roblox event runs from October 10, 2026 at 17:00 UTC to November 8 at 17:00 UTC. That is the event listing; Piggy Dev Team has not said whether the quest closes on that date or when Season 9 ends. The community wiki expects the quest and the effect to stop being obtainable after the season.

Forest’s keys, locks and exit are covered on the Forest chapter page. The update log does not list route changes beyond the new look.

• Trick Or Treat (ability): slowdown cut by 1 second, and a higher chance of giving candy to the Infected.
• Lovestruck (trap): slowdown cut to 5 seconds.
